home is where the heart is!

I thought that since I'm not working any more that I would post more but I guess that's not the case.  After a busy last week of work, a wonderful going-away happy hour, and a fun-filled weekend in Seattle, I'm back in Hawaii.  This is my first trip of my four month vacation!

The last few days have been quite busy with wedding appointments and baby sitting my cousin's kiddies.  So far, I've been to four dress appointments, florist, crane framing vendor, and a make-up trial.  I hope to schedule a consultation with the cake vendor we are interested in.  I'm also going to the bridal expo this weekend.  We also are hired our wedding coordinator who is also Dan's cousin Lauren.  I'm sooo grateful to have her be a part of our wedding day and it's extra special since she's family!  I cannot thank her enough for all the things she has already helped us with.  :)

After going to eight different wedding dress appointments (three during my last trip home in March, one in Seattle and the four this trip), I think I have my top two wedding dress choices.  I hope to decided on one by the end of this trip so I guess I better up load the pictures of those dresses so I can decided which one is 'the dress'.

In between the wedding appointments, I've been spending time with my cousin's two girls.  My cousin just had her third baby so my mom and I have been helping her out by watching the older two girls.  Our activities so far included a beach day, seeing the Ice Age exhibit at Pearlridge, and shopping!  Here is my favorite picture so far of my trip at Waiola shave ice.  Sooo yunmmy!

I love being back at home!  It's great to see my family and friends.  I wish Dan was here though, it's not the same being here without him.  I guess I'm one of those girls who can't be away from their other half for more than a few days...hehe.  I do miss him very much!

5 more days!

Officially I have only five more days of work before my four month vacation!  When I started interviewing with firms at home, I knew I wanted to take some time off before I started my new job in Hawaii.  After this week, I'll be unemployed until Nov. 15th.  It's a little scary knowing that I won't be working for four months but I'm looking forward to the time off.  I'll have more time than I'll know what to do with since the longest vacation I've had in five years was two weeks; now I'll have four months!

This week will be a little surreal since I can't believe this is my last week!  I love my T-Mobile family (as many of you already know T-Mobile is my biggest and main client; I pretty much work there everyday) and I'll miss seeing them everyday.  But I'm saving my favorite PwC memories and pictures for another post later on this week though. :)
